Father's Day Feature: Special moments with Dad

A big reason why I was so inspired to get into photography was to capture candid, special moments of my kids as they moved through their childhood. But, once I was able to return the favour to other parents, I knew I was onto something.

A father is neither an anchor to hold us back, nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love shows us the way.

I don’t always need an excuse to look back on my sessions (although it’s my favourite past time!), but with Father’s Day around the corner, I thought it would be a great idea to showcase some of my personal favourite shots featuring some amazing dads and their kids.

Whether it’s fathers and their newborns coming home from the hospital, or spending a day at the beach capturing dads and their kiddos in the sand—each of these photos gives you a glimpse into the very truthful, heartwarming bonds between these fathers and their children.

Dads are most ordinary men turned by love into heroes, adventurers, storytellers and lifelong friends.
